The sympathy of the Greeks for the Ukrainian people is also evident, both from the fact that the sanctions imposed on Russia are approved by the majority (63%) of the respondents and from the fact that the overwhelming majority (83%) is in favour of the decision to grant a 12-month residence and work permit for refugees from Ukraine.

According to the results of the poll, the majority of Greeks (54%) do not support the sending of military equipment to the war in Ukraine, in contrast to 46%.

However, those who believe that it is in Greece’s interest to side with one side prefer that this should be Ukrainian (37%), compared to 3% who say Greece should side with Russia.
