Ruling New Democracy (ND) records a marginal drop for ND while maintaining a lead of 8.9 points over major opposition party SYRIZA, according to a poll conducted by ALCO for Open TV.
PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads SYRIZA’s Alexis Tsipras by 13 points on who is most suitable for PM.
The respondents said their greatest concern was the developments in the war in Ukraine, as well as the difficulties faced by more than one in two households to meet the payment of increased electricity bills.
10% of respondents said they were unable to pay the increased bills, while only 19% answered that the support measures announced by the government helped “enough” or “a lot”.
56% of the citizens answer that the position of Greece in relation to Ukraine serves “a lot” or “enough” Greece’s national interests, while 71% are worried about a possible geopolitical upgrade of Turkey due to the war.
On the question of who you intend to vote for, ND received 31.1% – from 31.8% while SYRIZA appears stagnant at 22.2%.
KINAL records a loss of one unit, which drops to 13% in this measurement. The Communist Party (KKE) was up by 0.6%, while Mera25 has a marginal drop below 3%.
