Online hotel prices increased significantly in June in the most popular tourist cities worldwide compared to the previous month and the corresponding month of 2021 according to Trivago’s relevant data, presented today by Travel.gr.

Hotel prices in Athens are also rising, following international trends. However, Athens remains a competitive city in terms of hotel accommodation, if prices are compared with those of other major cities during this period.

In particular, the average on-line price per night in a double room in Athens for June is 143 euros for April compared to 132 euros in May and 108 euros in June 2021.
