Coronavirus Greece – 7,682 new cases – 12 deaths, and 97 intubated

The new coronavirus infections reached 7,682, according to Greek authorities, of which 1,382 are re-infections. At the same time, 12 people lost their lives and 97 remain in the ICU.

The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,624,556 (daily change + 0.2%), of which 48.6% are men. The number of possible new infections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 161,547 (4.3% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 12, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 30,190 deaths have been recorded. 95.7% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 97 (57.7% men). Their median age is 70 years. 92.8% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.
