Coronavirus Greece – 15,498 cases, 13 deaths and 97 intubated

Among intubated patients, 40 (41.24%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 57 (58.76%) are fully vaccinated.

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours were 15,498. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,676,502 (daily change + 0.4%), of which 48.6% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 2,984 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 171,424 (4.5% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 13, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 30,232 deaths have been recorded. 95.7% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 97 (58.8% men). Their median age is 70 years. 91.8% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 40 (41.24%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 57 (58.76%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,729 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
