Turkish Interior Minister: Greece supports PKK terrorists

The Turkish official said Germany and the US were also supporting terrorism

Newsroom August 19 01:10

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu included Greece among the countries that support members of the Kurdish organisation PKK, which Turkey has designated a terrorist group, in statements he made about terrorist activity in his country.

The Turkish Minister of Interior stated that “Greece reactivated the Lavrio camp”, while he also included Germany and the USA in terms of “supporting terrorists”, as he said. In February, in similar allegations, Soylu had said that PKK members are being trained at the Lavrio camp in Greece and then going to Northern Iraq, adding that the Lavrio camp has been activated in the last 7-8 months.

“There are countries around that want to use all this complexity, like Greece. For example, Greece has been activating the Lavrio camp, which has the seal of the UN, in favour of the PKK terrorist organisation, for about 7-8 months now,” he claimed.
