Watch Mark Zuckerberg show off MMA skills (video)

A number of UFC fighters gave him the thumbs up

Newsroom September 5 11:33

Mark Zuckerberg might be the most eccentric of the tech billionaires out there … ’cause the dude’s apparently diving into mixed martial arts, with some skills to boot.

McGregor, the first UFC fighter to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously, reacted to Zuckerberg’s video: “Fucking awesome Mark.”

Melinda Davenport, who is in charge of communications at Meta, encouraged her boss: “I’m impressed. The head kicks looked good! We need to think of a fighter nickname for you. And a walkout song…”

Other comments show that Zuckerberg’s fighting skills were praised. MMA fighter Johnny Eblen even commented: “Let’s train @zuck.”

Joe Rogan encouraged the billionaire, saying: “This is great! I’m so happy to see this. Training looks solid too!”

Zuckerberg made a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast and shared how overwhelmed he gets when looking at all of the notifications on his phone, and explained he often needs to give his body a “reset” in the morning and be productive, which is why he has turned to exercise.

He said he avoids running because it doesn’t help him take his mind off work, despite loving the activity.
