In the previous electoral battle, in 2018, the exit polls were quite close to the final result, but we have to wait for the projections for the distribution of seats. This is expected about an hour after the closing of the polls for the Senate and about 2 after midnight (Italian time) for the House.

The Parliament has 400 seats and the Senate 200 seats. To date, the two houses had 630 and 315 seats respectively, which were reduced by a third after a referendum in 2020.

The results from Rai TV’s exit poll are Center Right 41-45%, Center Left 25.5-29.5%.
