MPs Harakopoulos and Konstantinidis visited the Metropolis of Sweden

At noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022, Rev. Metropolitan of Sweden and all Scandinavia Cleopas, accompanied by Archimandrite Mr. Vartholomaiou Iatridis, the President of the Philoptochos Brotherhood of Ladies, Mrs. Fotina Batchelas and the representative of the youth, Dos Iliana Antoniou, received at the Cathedral of Agios Georgios in Stockholm the Greek Members of Parliament Maximos Charakopoulos, Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy and President of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice of the Hellenic Parliament, with his wife Dr. Elizabeth Kontou, and Efstathio Konstantinidis, Member of Parliament for Kozani and Secretary of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice of the Hellenic Parliament, with his wife Pashalina Mastroyannopoulou, Lawyer, as well as Danai Tsotsi, European Affairs Officer of the Hellenic Parliament.
The Reverent hosted a meal in honour of his guests at the Museum of Greek Christian Heritage and offered them a copy of his recently published study on the Patriarchal Visit to Stockholm in 2019 while guiding the dignitaries to the Cathedral’s facilities.
The two Members of Parliament offered His Eminence two collectible silver coins and the recently published “Agia Sophia” study.
