Tina Turner is dead at the age of 83.

The iconic singer died at her home in Switzerland today following a long illness.

The news of her passing was announced by her representative.

“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ passed away peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long battle with her health. She died at her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland. With her, the world is losing a music legend and role model,” the statement said.
