New Democracy is projected to secure an absolute majority in Parliament, according to the aggregate exit polls aired on Greek media outlets. The Conservative party is forecast to win between 40-44% of the votes, with the main opposition party SYRIZA falling to 16.1-19.1%. There will be a battle of how many parties will be voted into the Greek Parliament, as predictions vary between 5 to 7 parties. The most surprising result is the almost certain entry into Parliament of the Spartans (Spartiates) party launched and backed by extreme-right prisoner Ilias Kasidiaris which is projected to receive 4-6% of the vote. PASOK will come in third with 10-13% of the vote, followed by KKE with 7.2-9.2%, Greek Solution with 2.3-4.3%, and Victory (Niki) with 2.3-4.3%.
