In Thessaloniki, a speech by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is held at the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).
The Prime Minister’s speech came in the wake of the fires and severe weather “Daniel” that occurred in the previous period.
Unlike other years, this year the TIF speech was modest.
After all, the presence of Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the TIF is a political milestone of particular importance this year.
The Prime Minister has spent the first three months of his second term managing crises on the ground and domestically, while he has already changed two ministers along the way.

In this light and while the flood victims of Thessaly are trying to regain their lives, counting their wounds, Mr. Mitsotakis seeks to regain control of political initiatives and escape from the spiral of perpetual crisis management.
Thus, this year’s presence of Mr. Mitsotakis in Thessaloniki was be an opportunity for him to describe a series of changes and to announce important, specific decisions for a number of fields of everyday life.
The everyday life of the citizen will be, after all, the field of concentration of Mr. Mitsotakis, since the citizens are still faced with the problems of a dysfunctional state.
