Greek citizens, both permanent and tourists caught in the war zone in Israel, were successfully repatriated in a coordinated effort between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Greek Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Consulate General in Jerusalem.
On Monday 9 October, the first 90 Greek visitors arrived in Greece, while on Tuesday 10 October, another 68 were repatriated. Finally, on Thursday, October 12, 72 Greek residents of Israel, who expressed a desire to leave the conflict zone, returned.
The flights also facilitated the return of European and third-country nationals, securing the return of citizens from Austria, Germany Israel, Albania, Belgium, Belgium, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Ireland, Latvia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Panama.
