On Wednesday (28/2), the trial of Freddy Beleri will continue in the special court with the defense lawyers’ plea for the accused.

During the hearing, the two prosecutors found the elected mayor of Himara, Freddy Beleri, guilty of the crime of active corruption, proposing a sentence of 2 years and 6 months in prison, according to ERT.

For the co-defendant Pantelis Kokavesis, the prosecution proposed a sentence of one year in prison with a suspended sentence due to health problems.
