On March 14, 2024, Thessaloniki will host a special event that will put the city at the centre of tourist – and not only – interest.

Travel.gr in cooperation with Protothema.gr are organizing the pioneering conference Greece Talks – Destination.

The conference, which will take place at the Concert Hall of the capital, aims to shed light on the dynamics and future of the city in economic, developmental and tourism terms.

People, businesses and projects that mark the future of Thessaloniki are presented together with a holistic approach to the virtues of the city. The objectives of the conference are multiple and ambitious:

We open the debate on the image and position of modern Thessaloniki on the international tourism map.

We present people, ideas and case-studies that highlight the city’s transition to a new era.

We delve into the major changes that are paving the way and the key issues of the times in the city’s path to the future.

We create conditions for the development of the network connecting Thessaloniki with other European destinations.

The conference will be attended by policy makers such as ministers, executives of institutional and economic organisations, founders of great brands, as well as CEOs of major companies.
