Today will be sunny with relatively high temperatures, and similar weather conditions are expected at the start of the new week. Gradual changes are forecast toward midweek.

More specifically, according to the National Meteorological Service, Crete and the Dodecanese will initially experience increased cloud cover with local showers, and possibly isolated thunderstorms early in the morning, followed by gradual improvement.

In the rest of the country, the weather will generally be clear, with some local cloudiness over mainland mountainous areas during midday and afternoon hours, when isolated showers may occur in central and northern mountains.

Winds will blow from northern directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, and locally up to 6 Beaufort in western and southern seas.

Temperatures will rise slightly in the east, reaching 24–26°C on the mainland and 22–24°C in island areas.

Cloud development over mainland areas by midday, especially in the west, with local showers or isolated thunderstorms (mainly in mountains).

Temperature: Slight drop in the north (19–21°C), 22–23°C in islands, 24–26°C elsewhere.

Increased clouds in Thrace, Macedonia, and Thessaly with local rain and possible storms (mainly in mountains).
Elsewhere mostly clear with afternoon cloud build-up and local showers.

Increasing clouds with rain and possible storms, especially in northern and central mainland areas.
Rain spreading to islands later in the day.
Snow expected in mountainous areas of northern and central mainland.

Temperature: Noticeable drop in the north and central regions.
