The police were mobilized after a large explosion that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning in a cellar in Kallithea on Lagoumitzi street.
According to ERT, the explosion occurred shortly after 03:00 in the morning and caused enormous material damage to the wine cellar, to parked vehicles and to adjacent buildings.
There are no reports of casualties.
As seen in the photos following the explosion, the destruction of the cellar is complete, while a car was swept away by the blast wave and completely destroyed, ending up in the middle of the road.
