Mitsotakis: 80 hospitals & 156 health centers change their appearance – 400 million euros for renovations

"Step by step we build the new National Health System"

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the General Anticancer Hospital of Piraeus ‘Metaxa’ this morning, where he was briefed on the progress of renovation and modernization works at the hospital facilities.

The renovation is part of the broader program to upgrade structures of the National Health System.

As part of the works at ‘Metaxa,’ there will be a comprehensive renovation of the sixth and seventh floors, as well as the level -1, where the Radiotherapy Unit is located.
