US Ambassador George Tsounis: I lost 39 kilos with Greek food (videos)

The U.S. Ambassador to Greece, George Tsounis, spoke about his Greek heritage, weight loss, and the secret to his marriage on ALPHA.

In a different interview, the U.S. ambassador talked about his father, who passed away 22 years ago, stating that he “remembers him every day.”

“My father spoke to me about ‘filotimo’ and how we should behave,” Mr. Tsounis remarked.

As he also mentioned, his parents grew up in a village in the mountainous region of Nafpaktia with a lot of poverty, a village “in the mountains that had no electricity and running water.”

At another point in the interview, the U.S. Ambassador to Greece revealed the “secret” behind his weight loss.

As he said, “I lost 39 kilos with Greek food,” and moreover, as he emphasized, he lost the weight within 1.5 years.

Finally, Mr. Tsounis spoke about his wife’s Greek heritage and revealed the secret to their marriage.

As he said, his wife has roots from Lamia, and the secret to their marriage is “her incredible patience.”
