Mitsotakis – Aggeloudis: The warm handshake and the discussion about the city waste in Thessaloniki

A warm handshake was exchanged between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, before for the presentation of the national plan to address  teenage violence, at the 3rd High School of Polichni. During their brief conversation, Mr. Mitsotakis told the mayor he is pleased to see something changing for the better in the city’s appearance – especially in concern to rubbish collection in the area.

“I’m glad that we contributed to making this happen,” Mr. Mitsotakis said meaningfully to Mr. Angeloudis, who nodded and smiled. In the meeting he had with the Prime Minister at the Maximos Mansion, after his swearing-in, Mr. Angeloudis had urgently requested €13 million in aid to close the “holes” in the municipality’s waste management mechanism – and received it.
