The music spectacle – phenomenon, known as “the most beautiful tribute ever paid to the career of Édith Piaf” and having traveled to 50 different countries around the world, “Piaf! The Show”, is coming to Athens, at the Lykabettus Municipal Theater, on September 14th.
From Carnegie Hall in New York to the Olympia in Paris, this musical tribute to the legendary French singer has captivated audiences, critics, and her close friends such as Charles Aznavour and Ginou Richer. The life and career of Édith Piaf unfold on stage, featuring her most beloved songs including “La Vie En Rose,” “Non Je Ne Regrette Rien,” “La Foule,” “Milor,” among others, against an original set design and rare photographs of her, some of which are being revealed to the public for the first time.

The conception and direction are by Gil Marsalla, with Nathalie Lermitte starring, who followed the innate call of singing she had from the age of just six, when she first stepped on stage with her father’s orchestra and sang in front of 500 people. On the day she turned 18, she released her first album “Tu es tout ce que j’aime”, two singles from which sold over 400,000 copies.
Nathalie Lermitte has recorded numerous theme songs for TV series and animations. In 1989, she took her first steps in musical comedy when she was cast as Cristal in “Starmania,” that ran for 3 years at the Théâtre Marigny in Paris, followed by an international tour that concluded in Moscow and St. Petersburg. She then had a series of successful roles in musicals, including the portrayal of Edith Piaf.
In 2018, she joined the production “Piaf! The Show,” and continues to experience worldwide success with performances in France, the United States, Dubai, South America, and Europe.
