A new earthquake of magnitude 4.6 Richter centred on the area of Istiea in Evia occurred at dawn on Sunday with the earthquake also being felt in Attica.
According to the revised solution of the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake occurred at 5:02 am and had an epicentre 3km east of Vasiliki of Istiea with the focal depth estimated at 15km.

The area has been shaking from earthquakes since yesterday Saturday when several earthquakes were recorded with the largest being a 4.5 Richter at 5:23 am and a 4.2 Richter earthquake in the afternoon.
