4.6 magnitude earthquake in Istiea – The earthquake was also noticed in Attica

The region has been vibrating since yesterday, Saturday, when two earthquakes of 4.5 and 4.2 Richter were recorded

A new earthquake of magnitude 4.6 Richter centred on the area of Istiea in Evia occurred at dawn on Sunday with the earthquake also being felt in Attica.

According to the revised solution of the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake occurred at 5:02 am and had an epicentre 3km east of Vasiliki of Istiea with the focal depth estimated at 15km.
