A 35-year-old man is in the hands of the police, against whom an arrest warrant was pending for offences against sexual offences with a minor.
According to a statement from the National Police, the man was arrested upon arrival at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport on a flight from Switzerland.

He was arrested, in the evening hours yesterday (17-4-2024), by officers of the Athens Airport Police Directorate upon his arrival.
A 35-year-old foreigner, against whom an arrest warrant for sexual acts with a minor was pending, was arrested by the Athens Airport Police Department on arrival at the airport of Athens on a flight from Switzerland.

The 47 year old is accused that at least since 2021 and having the supervision of a minor, maintaining a friendly relationship with her mother, was committing the above criminal acts.
The arrested person will be brought to the competent public prosecutor.
