The Prince of Wales, William returned to his official public duties today for the first time since his wife, Kate Middleton, revealed she was diagnosed with cancer around four weeks ago.
William visited the surplus food distribution charity Surplus to Supper in Surrey, in south-east England, where he helped in the kitchen and loaded prepared meals into delivery vans.

William, 41, will later go to a youth centre in West London, which benefits from this organisation’s meal deliveries.
William has spent the last 3.5 weeks with his wife and children over the Easter holidays, as the family took time to process the new information that Kate’s diagnosis has created.
