Friday, April 19th, Minister of Education Kyriakos Pierrakakis visited the 6th Model Junior High School of Alexandroupolis. He had extensive discussions with the students about their life at school, the positive and negative impact of technology, and their future expectations.

Special emphasis was placed on the issue of school violence and bullying, while the minister was willing to listen to the student’s suggestions with regards to the national strategy for informing and combating the issue.

Students were educated from the Minister about how the stop-bullying.gov.gr platform operates one of the tools for addressing school violence and bullying. Mr. Pierrakakis encouraged each pupil speak up when such problems surface assuring them that every student would be protected.
