A Boeing 737 aircraft belonging to Transavia France made an emergency landing at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, the aircraft, which had taken off from Athens airport at 15:00 bound for Paris, was forced to land back at the same airport when a bird strike was detected in its engines.
The landing was safely conducted at 15:41, and the passengers disembarked awaiting further information about their flight.
Additionally, as a precautionary measure for fire safety reasons, the Fire Brigade was mobilized.
