Mitsotakis: We are considering a rental cap for Airbnb – A new reduction in employer contributions is coming

SYRIZA has only changed its packaging; it remains toxic

Newsroom May 29 10:55

Kyriakos Mitsotakis criticized SYRIZA for the mixture of populism, toxicity, and “money trees”-like promises, stating that “only the packaging has changed” during an interview on Action24 on Wednesday morning.

The Prime Minister also mentioned new interventions being considered regarding the Airbnb market, suggesting the possibility of imposing a cap on the number of rental days.

He reiterated that when fiscal conditions permit, there will be another reduction in employer contributions by one percentage point.

On national issues, Mr. Mitsotakis sent a message to Albania and North Macedonia that their European path depends on respecting the law and implementing the Prespa Agreement.

Regarding Turkey, he clarified that “there are no gray areas for Greece in the Aegean.”

Finally, he stated that he has a good feeling about Olympiacos’ final for the Conference League title against Fiorentina today, as he sees “momentum similar to Euro 2004.”
