In its 99th year, Olympiacos football club reached a new milestone. While dominating in Greece with the highest number of championships and cups, the club had long pursued the ultimate accolade in European competition.
For generations, Olympiacos fans had passionately chanted the slogan “With one wild dream, the Legend shall lift the European trophy,” on the night of May 29, 2024, that chant finally became a reality.

Olympiacos clinched a 1-0 victory against Fiorentina in the Conference League final held in Nea Filadelfeia, marking its inaugural European football title. From the afternoon of May 29th until the early hours of May 30th, Olympiacos experienced a significant rise.
The eagle became the focal point of attention in Nea Filadelfeia. The initial Olympiacos supporters began arriving one by one outside the OPAP Arena after 5 PM on Wednesday.
