For a moment, US President Joe Biden seemed to be at a loss for words at the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, held in France.

The US president was received at the podium by French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife.

After the greeting, Biden, accompanied by his wife Jill, attempted to sit down, but there was no chair nearby.
