Tragedy in Chania with the victim of a 20-year-old lifeguard of Bulgarian origin, who was taken to Chania Hospital with cardiac arrest but despite the efforts of doctors could not be kept alive.

According to local media, before the tragic incident occurred, there was a heated argument with some people, his fellow nationals, in Kalyves Apokoronas.

The young man managed to get away from the quarrel, shortly afterwards he collapsed and was subsequently found to be dead!

There are even reports that the young man was beaten up.
