In February this year, there was a 22.4% increase in the number of visitors to the country’s museums, along with a 29.7% increase in free admission visitors and an 11.1% increase in revenue.

In the first two months, compared to the same period in 2023, there was an 11.8% increase in museum visitors, a 16% increase in free admission visitors, and a 7.9% increase in revenue.

According to ELSTAT, in archaeological sites, February 2024 saw a 44.1% increase in visitors, a 59.5% increase in free admission visitors, and a 33% increase in revenue compared to the same month in 2023.

In the first two months, compared to the same period in 2023, there was a 34.2% increase in visitors, a 56.8% increase in free admission visitors, and a 23.9% increase in revenue.
