A young lady from the UK began a lifelong relationship during her holiday in Rhodes.
In late April, Maisie Truscott had traveled to Rhodes for moments of relaxation during a stroll she came across a small stray dog staring at her with weary eyes, and the moment she saw the sweet animal she didn’t hesitate to say “I’m taking you home with me back to the UK!”
At first, she took care of little Arlo for the time she stayed in Rhodes, but the moment of separation was not far off. She left him behind with tears in her eyes, but also a promise. To return to take him home to her home in the UK.
For this effort, she opened an online fundraiser through which she raised just over £1,000 to enable Arlo to travel to the UK.
In May, it became a reality with the little dog now enjoying life in a British suburb. Young Maisie even helped another family get a stray dog from Greece to the UK.
