Emotional Moments Post-Game

A few minutes after the final whistle, Giannis took his children onto the court. He then stepped away from his teammates, sat down, and burst into tears, holding one of his sons who had a “ticket” to Paris.

“I never played without putting my best foot forward. Rendezvous in Paris #Atoutaler,” Giannis wrote a few hours later in his first Instagram post following the national team’s qualification for the Olympic Games.

Praise from FIBA, the NBA, and the Milwaukee Bucks

FIBA, the NBA, and the Milwaukee Bucks celebrated Giannis’s emotional reaction, sharing the video of his breakdown after the pre-Olympic tournament.

Locker Room Emotions

In the locker room, Giannis again broke down, realizing he had achieved another childhood dream by participating with the Greek National Team in the Olympic Games. He tearfully hugged his brother.
