The news was revealed by his close friend, Georgios Stavropoulos

Newsroom July 9 01:35

The brotherly friend of Thanasis Veggos, Giorgos Stavropoulos, has “solved” the mystery regarding the actor’s body.

As he revealed to Espresso newspaper, the popular actor was never buried but cremated.

“He had an aneurysm. He was operated on by one of the best doctors in Greece. The doctor kept him for a month at his house because he adored Thanasis and wanted to care for him, but he couldn’t endure it,” Stavropoulos initially said about the death of Thanasis Veggos.

When asked where his body might be buried, he replied: “It’s a mystery that only I and his family know.”
