The Prison Directorate approved his request for a five-day leave after multiple meetings. Freddy Beleris must return by 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, to serve the remainder of his sentence.

According to himara.gr, the Prison Directorate requested full details from Beleris, including transportation guarantees, the submission of travel tickets for departure and return, and accommodation arrangements in a hotel. If he stays longer than the permit allows due to developments there, he must officially notify all relevant institutions, including local authorities in Brussels.

Finally, it was announced that he will travel alone, without escort from correctional officers.
