According to HMS, the student’s participation in the Olympiad was the result of a rigorous selection process through the Panhellenic Mathematics Competition, which has been organized by HMS since 1934. This year, the first phase of the competition saw 12,000 students from across Greece competing. HMS prepares and supports these students on a voluntary basis, aiming to enhance Mathematical Education and Training in Greece.
The Hellenic Mathematical Society congratulated all members of the Greek team on their outstanding success and acknowledged the significant support from the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs in this endeavor.
