Government sources clarified that the changes in the General Secretariats are aimed at further accelerating the government’s work, following discussions between the Prime Minister’s Office and all ministers.

These sources stated that, with a horizon set for 2027 and a bold reform program to be implemented by then, the appointments, replacements, or transfers were decided based on evaluating the work done so far and appreciating each individual’s contribution to a more efficient state serving its citizens.

Changes have been made in one-third of the General Secretariats, totaling 25, with 6 being transfers. The new structure creates a stronger organizational core within the government. It is noteworthy that 40% of the individuals in the new General Secretariats team are women.

In this context, new opportunities have been given to individuals, efforts have been rewarded, and for those General Secretaries leaving, the Prime Minister’s Office has expressed unlimited appreciation for their contributions.
