Traffic restrictions will take place on Attica Road from 22:00 tonight, July 30, until 06:00 tomorrow morning, July 31, due to maintenance work.

More details:

1. The entrance of Attiki Odos from Lamia, towards Elefsina and towards Airport / Markopoulo, at Junction 8 (Metamorphosis) will remain closed from 22:00 in the evening of Tuesday 30/07/2024 until 06:00 in the morning of Wednesday 31/07/2024.

During the above blockade, following the detour signs, drivers can make a U-turn at the Vryoulon Junction (cars and trucks up to 30 tons) and head towards Lamia where, via Junction 8 of Attiki Odos (Metamorfosi), they can head towards Elefsina or towards Airport / Markopoulo.

2. From 22:00 in the evening of Tuesday 30/07/2024 until 06:00 in the morning of Wednesday 31/07/2024, the exit of Attiki Odos towards Magoula / Thriasio Hospital (Junction 2) in the direction of Elefsina will remain closed.

During the above blockade, following the detour signs, drivers can continue driving towards Elefsina, then turn around immediately afterwards at the Mandra Junction (Junction 1), and head towards Airport / Markopoulo until the next Junction (Junction 2 – Magoulas).

3. From 22:00 in the evening of Tuesday 30/07/2024 until 06:00 in the morning of Wednesday 31/07/2024, the exit of Attiki Odos to Markopoulo (Junction 20), in the direction to Airport, as well as the connecting branch from Airport to Markopoulo will remain closed.

During the above closures, drivers can move as follows:

During the time of the transit, the following routes can be used:
– Drivers passing through from Elefsina to Markopoulo, can move to the right on Koropi – Airport, towards “Koropi”, and then at the intersection with Markopoulo turn left at the traffic lights towards Markopoulo.

– Those passing through from the airport with destination Markopoulo, can move towards “Vari Koropi” until the intersection with Markopoulo L., where they will turn left at the traffic lights towards Markopoulo.

4. From 00:00 to 04:00 in the morning of Wednesday 31/07/2024, the entrance of Attiki Odos at the Katechaki junction (junction Y1) from Alimos / Karea to Elefsina / Rafina / Airport / Markopoulo will remain closed.

During the above blockade, drivers can continue their way to Messogeion L., where, via Messogeion and Marathonos L., they can head towards the suburbs neighbouring the Ymittos Regional Road or via Junction 15 of Attiki Odos, at Marathonos L., towards Airport / Markopoulo.
