Firefighters are dealing with scattered outbreaks in Afrati Euboea.

Strong winds blowing in the area resulted in the Afrati front strengthening again.

Strong fire brigade forces are operating at the scene and airborne resources have been requested.

In the morning, the fire situation in Evia was improved, as the overnight battle of firefighters and residents paid off and there were some small scattered outbreaks.

More than 183 firefighters and 8 teams with 52 vehicles are battling the active outbreaks, while nine aircraft and four helicopters have started air drops since the morning.
