The price of fuel has risen again, with those who have chosen to holiday on an island having to dig deep into their pockets to fill their car’s tank.

Average unleaded prices in the Cyclades and the Dodecanese have already exceeded 2 euros a liter, while prices in other tourist areas of the country are close to that level.

In the Dodecanese, in Rhodes, the price of 95 varies from 1.91 to 2.35 euros per liter, while in Kos the price of petrol reaches up to 2.119 euros.

The price of a car can go from 2.119 to 2.119 euros.

Last week, the average price of fuel across the country showed a slight decline, as the average price of unleaded fuel fell from 1.886 euros per liter on Friday 26 July to 1.881 euros per liter a week later, on Friday 2 August.
