The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Kostas Tsiaras, and the President of ELGA, Mr. Andreas Th. Lykourentzos, after cooperation, has decided:

– The settlement of the findings, which were registered until now in the information systems of the Central Service of EL.G.A. and relate to compensation for damages in the primary sector year 2023, damages at the beginning of the year 2024, and settlements of objections of producers year 2022.

As stated in an announcement, the compensation will be paid on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at noon to the accounts of the beneficiaries.

– The extension of the deadline for the payment of the special insurance contribution for the year 2023 until September 30, 2024, provided that the insured farmers have paid the special insurance contribution for the year 2022 to ELGA.
