New Investigation into Andrew Tate’s Homes in Romania

Authorities indicate that the controversial influencer may be linked to crimes involving minors

Newsroom August 21 04:27

On Wednesday (August 21), Romanian police conducted searches of the homes of controversial influencer Andrew Tate as part of an investigation into new charges against him.

Romanian authorities reported that four residences were searched in Bucharest and Ilfov province, according to the BBC.

Tate is awaiting trial on charges of rape and human trafficking, but the charges could potentially expand to include additional accusations of sexual relations with minors, trafficking of minors, money laundering, and attempted witness tampering.

Tate’s brother, Tristan, and two Romanian women are also charged in the same case. Both brothers have denied all charges against them.

They were arrested in Romania in December 2022 and released from house arrest in August 2023.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tate wrote, among other things, that “slander is their number one tool, and the process is the punishment. But unfortunately for them, good always wins in the end.”

In the past, Tate was banned from social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views, which he admitted.

The Tate brothers are accused of exploiting women through an adult content business, which Romanian prosecutors claim operated as a criminal group.

Both are also wanted in the UK for other alleged sexual offenses committed.
