A world-renowned actor, Christophe Lambert, will soon be in Athens to take part in the Rock Ballet Opera “Blind Forgiveness,” which will be hosted on September 13 and 14 at the Pallas Theater.
The César Award-winning actor for his role in Luc Besson’s film “Subway,” the famous star of the legendary “Tarzan,” the “Highlander” films, and the popular Netflix series “Blacklist,” will appear for the first time on a Greek stage. He will present parts of the libretto and plot, analyzing and explaining the unique and hybrid nature of this performance, and he will perform one of its signature songs.
A diverse ensemble of extraordinarily talented artists from almost every continent, a universal and global ballet with top dancers, and a symphonic ensemble of virtuoso musicians will dance and perform compositions by the acclaimed Smirnov Arsenii, as well as iconic works of world literature. The artist succeeds in blending rock music with a symphonic academic form, revealing the soul of the performance.
The female soloist is the talented Fernandez Menes Natalia, while the male soloist is the award-winning Julian Mackay. Both are top performers in their fields, directed by Alexander Mogilev, along with the famous conductor and founder of the Symphony Orchestra, Arman Urazgaliev. The choreographer, Kirill Radev, has masterfully conveyed plastic images endowed with special characteristics, expressing a variety of human emotions, situations, and relationships through original choreographic language. The top costume designer Igor Chapurin, along with the multi-talented architect and set designer Anastasia Kapustina, created a global cultural event making its world premiere in Athens.
