Three months after the European elections, the main shift in voter attitudes is related to the crisis within SYRIZA, which has reduced its voting intention to a marginal single-digit figure for the main opposition party. PASOK has moved up to second place with small gains, according to the Opinion Poll survey presented on the main news bulletin of Action 24.
Given that the overall undecided vote is around 20%, the percentage of ND (New Democracy) is estimated to be above the percentage of the European elections, as is PASOK’s, while SYRIZA shows significant losses.
The survey, however, focuses on the electoral process within PASOK, with Haris Doukas securing a comfortable lead in the question (to PASOK voters) of which candidate could stand up to Kyriakos Mitsotakis. In this question, Nikos Androulakis is in second place, followed by Anna Diamantopoulou in third.
The voting intention (and in parentheses the intention among valid votes) is:
ND: 25.1% (27.1%)
PASOK: 12.1% (13.1%)
SYRIZA: 9.7% (10.5%)
KKE: 8.1% (8.8%)
Greek Solution: 6.8% (7.4%)

Niki: 3.1% (3.4%)
Voice of Reason: 2.8% (3%)
MeRA 25: 2.5% (2.7%)
New Left: 1.9% (2.1%)
Other: 5.1% (5.5%)
Blank/Invalid: 2.3% (-)
Abstention: 5.2% (-)
Undecided: 12% (13%)
PASOK: More than 50% believe it could once again have governmental prospects
The four key findings of the survey:
49.6% believe that, fifty years after its founding, PASOK has had an overall positive impact on society and the country’s progress. An opposing view is held by 46.5%, with 4% not responding.
50.4% believe that PASOK could become a major party again with governmental prospects.
64% of PASOK voters believe that in the coming period, the party should focus on strengthening itself through an independent course, trying to express the forces of the Center and the reformist Center-Left. Meanwhile, 28.8% believe it should orient itself towards forming a Center-Left front against Kyriakos Mitsotakis, together with SYRIZA, New Left, etc.
74.8% of PASOK voters state they will participate in the elections (25.4% of the total sample).
