Authorities were alerted to a man who fell into a well in Marcati Keratea at noon Thursday.

The Commander of the Lavrio Fire Service, officers, firefighters, the designated civil protection adviser of the Municipality of Lavreotiki and a team of EMAK were at the scene.

According to the Fire Protection Department of Lavreotiki Forests, the man was extricated injured and conscious and was handed over to an ambulance for transport to a hospital. As reported, the man is injured but out of danger.
