METLEN Energy & Metals sponsored the design and implementation of the lighting, as well as the event to promote the event, confirming its commitment to the promotion and protection of Greece’s cultural heritage.

The lighting is being curated by internationally acclaimed lighting designer Eleftheria Decaux, known for her award-winning work on the Acropolis and the opening of the 2004 Athens Olympics. The new lighting for the temple uniquely highlights the historical and architectural significance of the monument, giving it new dimensions and bringing the past to life through light.

The illumination evening will culminate with a concert by the distinguished Greek composer Stavros Xarchakos, who will present a musical composition that pays tribute to Greece’s cultural heritage. The concert will be accompanied by leading Greek artists such as Dimitris Basis, Iro Saia, and Zacharias Karounis, a multi-member choir, and orchestra, as well as the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra, under the direction of the leading Stavros Xarhakos.
