Weather: clear across the country with local rain

Clear weather is forecast for today, Sunday weather according to the National Weather Service. In the Ionian Sea and until midday in Crete and possibly in the morning hours in Evia local showers. In the rest of the country, generally improved weather with occasional clouds in the midday and afternoon hours on the mainland with local rain in the western and northern mountainous areas.

During the morning hours, visibility will be locally limited in the western and northern mainland. Winds in the west will be variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the east will blow from northern directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean Sea locally 7 Beaufort.

The temperature will not change significantly and will reach 26 to 28 degrees Celsius in most areas.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop and local rain will occur in the mountainous areas of western and central Macedonia.

Currently, the weather will be mostly cloudy.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east northeast 4 to 5 Beaufort with gradual weakening.
Temperature: From 14 to 28 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 3 to 4 degrees lower.

IONIAN ISLAND, EPIRUS, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
The mainland is generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours clouds will develop and there will be local rain in the mountains.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 28 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.

In the remaining areas generally clear with occasional sparse clouds becoming denser in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: From northern directions 4 to 5 and in the east occasionally locally 6 Beaufort which will gradually weaken from the evening.
Temperature: From 16 to 28 degrees Celsius.

CRETE
In the Cyclades generally clear with sparse clouds at times.

Winds: From northern directions 4 to 6 and in the east locally 7 Beaufort, which will gradually weaken from the evening.
Temperature: From 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.

ISLANDS OF THE EAST AEGEAN – DODEKANISA

Temperature: From 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the east from the north 4 to 5 Beaufort with gradual weakening.
