Strike Update: How Suburban Rail and Trains Will Operate Today – Latest Schedule Changes

Railway workers go on strike - The last Suburban train services today 24/9

Rail schedules will be disrupted this week as rail workers launch a barrage of industrial action.

Trouble awaits citizens traveling by suburban train today Tuesday, Sept. 24 as Hellenic Train goes on a work stoppage announced by the Panhellenic Union of Traction Personnel.

Also on Thursday 26 September, trains will not run due to the 24-hour nationwide strike announced by the employees of the SEP and PEP TRAINOSE unions.

The workers are demanding, among other things, immediate recruitment, replacement of rolling stock with modern trains comparable to European railways, and completion of infrastructure and transport safety projects on the railway network.

Today there will be cancellations and modifications in the Suburban Railway from 18:00 to 00:00, due to a work stoppage.
