Ancient Greece: Major exhibition coming to Athens – Watch video and photos

At the Olympic center in Goudi

Newsroom September 25 06:30

A captivating journey into the roots of our civilization and an impressive exploration of the era that gave birth to great values and works, the exhibition titled “Ancient Greece” opens on October 5 at the Olympic Center in Goudi. This is the largest theme park dedicated to Ancient Greece, arriving in Athens after a highly successful debut in Budapest, with direction by Sotiris Tsafoulias and historical curation by renowned historian and academic Thanos Veremis.

The exhibition brings to life the most significant figures from ancient Greek history and mythology, along with the pivotal events that shaped their stories, across a 1,500 square meter space. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Trojan Horse and the Trireme, the warship with which Athens ruled the Mediterranean. Ancient philosophers and scientists “come to life” through AI applications, speaking about their lives and achievements.
