“Our enemy is one,” declared Iran’s Supreme Religious Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in his sermon after Friday prayers.
“The policies adopted by our enemy aim to sow the seeds of discord among Muslims. This same enemy exists for the Palestinians, the Lebanese, the Egyptians, and the Iraqis. This same enemy is present for the peoples of Yemen and Syria,” Khamenei stated before the large crowd gathered at the mosque where he delivered his sermon.

He emphasized that “the enemy operates everywhere with a specific method. If it is finished in one country, it will move on to the next.”
In this context, he called on Muslim nations to “tighten their belts of resistance” from Afghanistan to Yemen and from Iran to Gaza and Lebanon.

He characterized the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas as a legitimate act and expressed the same sentiment regarding Iran’s strike on Israel on Tuesday.
“The Al-Aqsa Storm operation was legitimate, as was that of the Palestinians. The defense of the Lebanese in Gaza is a just action. The wonderful operation of our armed forces was entirely legitimate.”
“We will neither delay nor rush to fulfill our duty. What our politicians and military deem reasonable and right will occur at the right time and will be done again in the future if necessary,” Khamenei continued.
